New York MC and Producer Sai Wai, and London-based Ghostchant team up to bring a split EP containing a memorable original and some sweet instrumentals to seal the deal on this trans-atlantic release. Their styles combine to create a harmonious blend of hip-hop, lo-fi, and soulful-jazz, with well executed drum beats and organic instrumentation. Sai Wai shows his vocal and lyrical talent on their collaboration track 'Rust to Gold' with an exotic beat from Ghostchant. This is joined by an instrumental contribution from each of them as well as a slow jam non-vocal mix of Rust to Gold. Definitely one for the collection.
